New Dining Options at Ferrum

The Dining Services sent out an email asking students what new dining options they would like at Ferrum College this semester. The options included in the email were Mexican inspired dishes, All-American, pasta dishes, and more. 

Levi Briggs, the Foodservice Director at Ferrum, explained that right now Ferrum is considering an in-house dining option. 


 “We are leaning towards an in-house concept. In many cases, franchise options require specific equipment, a minimum period of operations, and very expensive licensing contracts. We believe that we will have more flexibility if we use an in-house concept,” Briggs said. 


Since the idea of adding a new dining option is so new, much about it is still in the work and remains unknown. Those who have been an active part in finding a new dining option have been Aladdin, numerous departments of Ferrum, and the students who participated in the student survey.
