Masked-up Campaign

      The SGA board members at Ferrum College handed out free masks in the Quad to promote safe learning and practices at Ferrum College on Oct. 21.

      The masked-up campaign held by SGA took place in order to promote the use of a mask around campus.  They had a multitude of masks to choose from so that everyone could find a stylish mask that they liked.

Rotaract and DPhiE Give Back!

Ferrum College enjoyed a food drive led by the Rotaract Club and Delta Phi Epsilon sorority during the week of Oct. 11. This event was held to help give back to the Ferrum community and do what they can to help.

Laughing During Covid With Lauren Hope Krass

Running the Challenges Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim: Megan St. Peters and her Master’s Program in Psychology

Whether it be training for marathons or researching the brain, Dr. Megan St. Peters has enjoyed challenging herself. When turning 40 years old next year, St. Peters hopes she would be able to do the Rim-to-Rim hike at the Grand Canyon. 

“That’s 40 miles, so 40 miles for my 40th,” St. Peters said.

 

St. Peters explained this after just completing another challenge that glows in her academic career at Ferrum this year.

Ferrum Swim Team’s Virtual Compete During the COVID Season

Ferrum College’s Men and Women’s swim teams put an interesting twist on their “COVID Season”. Using a virtual meeting, the swimmers got to compete against Sweet Briar College in all of the competition categories on Oct. 7, 2020.

Student Personal Trainer Helps Student-Athletes Succeed at Ferrum College

Student personal trainers at Ferrum College work one-on-one with student-athletes on specific areas that coaches do not get the opportunity to help with.
